Good news for deserving families! Ramzan Ration Program Starting today, February 26, the Ramzan Nighaban Package will provide financial assistance to low-income families. Under this program, a pay order of Rs. 10,000 will be delivered to all post offices for poor and deserving women.

How Will You Receive the Money?
- Home
Delivery: Post office staff will bring the pay orders directly to your
home.
- Bank
Deposit: Once you receive the pay order, you must deposit it in the
bank.
- For
Bank Account Holders: If you already have a bank account, the pay
order will be deposited into your account.
- For
Those Without a Bank Account: You can withdraw the money after biometric
verification through a bank agent.
- Other
Withdrawal Options: Money can also be received from Bank of Punjab,
HBL Connect, and UBL Omni after biometric verification and PIN code
confirmation.
Punjab Government’s Decision on Nighaban Ramadan Package
(Daily Pakistan Online) The Punjab government has decided to
provide the Nighaban Ramadan package to the people of the province.
According to private TV Sama News, a special meeting was
held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in
which a decision was taken in principle to provide the Nighaban Ramadan package
to millions of families in the province. The meeting reviewed various
suggestions and recommendations regarding the package, while the Chief Minister
ordered necessary steps to ensure transparency in its distribution.
Addressing the meeting, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam
Nawaz said that the Nighaban Ramadan package is the right of the poor
people and the duty of the government. She emphasized that people should
not have to stand in long queues to benefit from the package; instead, they
should receive their assistance with honor and respect. She also
directed that citizens should be registered for the package, and the
registration process should be completed by February 15.
She further stated that serving the people in the holy
month of Ramadan is an act of worship and urged the administration and
relevant authorities to carry out their duties not as a mere responsibility
but as a noble service for the pleasure of Allah Almighty.
Earlier in the meeting, officials provided a briefing and
highlighted that registration in PSER is mandatory for the Nighaban Ramadan
package.
It was also informed that registration applications can
be submitted online from home through a dedicated portal. Additionally,
people can register at union council and municipality offices, and a helpline
(080002345) has been set up for assistance regarding the package.
Pakistan Post's Role in the Program
- The Punjab
Government’s "Nighaban Ramadan Project-2025" is being
managed by Pakistan Post.
- Starting
from February 25, around 3 million families will receive Rs.
10,000 bank pay orders through insured letters.
- Bank
of Punjab will issue 500,000 pay orders daily from Lahore and
send them to Pakistan Post for delivery.
- Pakistan
Post will ensure that all deserving families across Punjab receive their
pay orders at their doorstep.
Special Arrangements by Pakistan Post
- On the
instructions of Director General Pakistan Post, Samiullah Khan, all
preparations for booking, processing, and special delivery have been
completed.
- To
ensure smooth distribution, all staff leaves and transfers in
Punjab’s post offices have been banned until the project is
completed.
- Employees
will work from 8:30 AM till late hours with no fixed closing
time.
- All
holidays, including Saturdays and Sundays, have been canceled until
further notice.
- The
project will operate 24 hours a day to ensure timely delivery.

to low-income families during the holy month of Ramzan. If you or
